This is a review for the MagSafe® Compatible Iceblade CamProp Case with Hidden Stand – Midnight Black for the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
So, to start, this is my 3rd case for my Galaxy Z Fold 7. I started with their own silicone case, which, in my opinion, doesn’t offer much protection, and the stand is useless. So, I upgraded to a well-known brand (Spigen) that offers hinge protection. That case broke when I dropped my phone, it was also very clunky and slippery. Then, I started looking online to find a case, that was slim, offered hinge protection and had some good looks, this is where Nillkin came in!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, as sometimes what you see online is not what you get. Well, not in this case! WOW! Easy to install, case looks fantastic and pairs well with their glass screen protector. This case is grippy, sleek and not clunky as the other brand I had. The quality exceeded my expectations! I can’t comment on long term use, but just by look and feel, I think I’ll have it for a good while!
The kickstand is good, not my primary reason for getting this case, but does work well. It takes care of the notorious WOBBLE when the phone is on a desk when closed. No wobble at all! Well done, Nillkin!
The Magsafe in the back is strong, sticks well in my Magsafe holder in the truck. It hasn’t fallen off when hitting good bumps. I don’t use wireless charging, I can’t comment on whether it works or not.
Buttons: I almost forgot to mention, they have raised buttons for the volume up/down, what a treat!!! It is much easier to change the volume versus my other cases.
Shipping; From China to Canada, 9 days! WOW! No complaints there.
The only thing, and it’s small, is the back of the case scratches quite easily. I don’t expect a hard transparent plastic back to not scratch.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the case! It’s sleek, doesn’t make noise when opening and closing like my other case, it’s grippy and not slippery, and works well with their glass screen protector. (I assembled the case first, then applied the screen protector, it acts as a guide)
